The Toombs family welcomes you to Orchard View Cottages.
Since 1966, the Toombs family of North Rustico, Prince Edward Island has been taking in guests and offering accommodations on their century-old farm.
It all began with Darren’s grandmother, Vivian, who opened up her 1900 farmhouse to guests as Orchard View Farm Tourist Home, named after the lovely apple orchard that once stood in their front yard. Her eldest son, Ronald, and his wife, Heather, continued the practice, running the tourist home and expanding the business, with a focus on building cottages to accommodate guests.
And now operations have been passed down to Ronald and Heather’s eldest son, Darren. He owns the business and the 1901 green farmhouse situated directly in front of the twelve cottages. The office is located in the kitchen, just as it was decades earlier for Vivian.
The Toombs family are proud and excited to welcome you to their cottages each summer, where you can explore this lovely province and enjoy the comforts of authentic Island hospitality.
Come as visitors to Prince Edward Island, but leave as family friends.
